Refund Policy

This Policy applies to consultancy fees paid to Poplarfield Advisory for workshops, audits, briefs, and advisory hours. It does not cover third-party costs (printing, travel booked by the client, vendor projects).

1. Deposit and confirmation

A 50% deposit confirms scheduled dates. Deposits are refundable if we cancel the engagement or if you cancel more than 14 calendar days before the first scheduled field day or delivery date.

2. Cancellation by client

More than 14 days before start — Full deposit refund within 10 business days.

8–14 days before start — 50% of deposit retained; remainder refunded within 10 business days.

Less than 8 days before start — Deposit non-refundable unless we can fill the slot with another client (if filled, 50% of deposit refunded).

After field work begins — No refund of fees for work already performed. Partial credit toward a future engagement may be offered at our discretion for documented emergencies (hospitalisation, natural disaster closures).

3. Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted if requested at least 10 business days before the original date. Additional reschedules within 10 business days incur a NT$ 3,000 administrative fee. Workshop dates moved twice incur the scheduling surcharge listed on our Rates Guide.

4. Cancellation by Poplarfield Advisory

If we cancel, you receive a full refund of unused fees within 10 business days or may transfer amounts to a rescheduled date at your choice.

5. Deliverables and satisfaction

Consultancy deliverables are professional documents and sessions, not guaranteed business outcomes. If a deliverable materially fails to match the written scope (missing sections, wrong competitor count), notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will correct the deliverable at no charge or offer a partial refund proportional to the missing scope.

Subjective dissatisfaction with positioning direction after good-faith workshop facilitation is not grounds for refund, but one revision cycle is included in workshop scope as described in service materials.

6. Advisory hours

Advisory hour blocks are non-refundable once purchased. Unused hours may roll once within six months as stated on the Rates Guide. No refund for unused hours after that period.

7. Travel fees

Travel days billed for engagements outside Taipei metro follow the same cancellation windows as the parent engagement. Non-refundable airline or accommodation costs we prepaid on your authorization are billed to you if cancellation occurs within 8 days of travel.

8. No-shows

Missing a scheduled workshop day or site visit without notice converts that day’s fee to a no-show charge equal to 100% of the scheduled day rate. One reschedule may still be offered if you contact us within 24 hours with a documented emergency.

9. Work already started

If you terminate an audit or brief after we have delivered a draft or completed field photography, fees for completed milestones are non-refundable. Milestones: materials intake (20%), field work (40%), draft delivery (70%), final delivery (100%).

10. Purchased materials

We do not sell physical products on this Site. If we procure printing or photography on your behalf with prior written approval, those vendor invoices are pass-through and follow the vendor’s refund rules.

11. Refund method

Refunds are issued to the original bank transfer account in NTD. International wires may take additional clearing time; sender fees from the original payment are not refunded.

12. Processing time

Approved refunds are initiated within 10 business days of approval. Bank processing may add 3–10 business days.

13. How to request

Email info@content-poplarfield.click with your name, engagement date, invoice number, and reason. We confirm eligibility within 3 business days.
